OBI

Lesson 8 · 14 min · Free with a Horizon account

OBI trades when one side of the book leads your broker by Imbal Gap while the other side stays within Max Counter. It reads prices, in points, not volume.

Info

One-Sided Price Lead

OBI compares raw Horizon CME prices with your broker's on each side of the book. It buys when the fast bid leads the broker bid by at least Imbal Gap while the broker ask stays less than Max Counter above the fast ask; selling is the mirror. Shift and Auto Offset do not apply, so any futures-vs-CFD basis between the two prices sits inside the gap.
